Dr. Dave conducts ongoing research in a variety of industries. A key topic that emerged from discussions with individuals and groups within the motorcycle industry was the continued concern for the future of motorcycling. A workshop was conducted to develop new ideas to promote motorcycling to non-riders.

Harley-Davidson’s long-term business is challenged by a lack of new, young riders. A workshop was conducted to imagine Harley’s future in a new industry. Participants ideated on how Harley could become the leader in first-responder drones.

AUTONOMOUS PATROL SUPPORT

A workshop was conducted to develop new ways to address the challenge of recruiting and retaining law enforcement officers. The workshop provided participants the opportunity to learn design fiction in the development of near-future scenarios with near-future technology solutions.

AUGMENTED REALITY (ar) FOR TECH SHORTAGES

Like many service industries, motorcycle dealerships are facing ongoing challenges recruiting and retaining motorcycle technicians. A workshop was conducted to develop near-future technology solutions to address tech shortages while learning design fiction, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
